L’encodage UTF-8 n’a pas dit son dernier mot ! La normalisation UTF-8 des noms de fichiers/répertoires est différente entre les systèmes d’exploitation. Mac OS X utilise ainsi la forme D (NFD) alors que les autres systèmes dont Linux utilisent la forme C (NFC).

Bref, la commande magique s’appelle convmv et elle permet de convertir la normalisation NFC en NFD (et inversement) suite à une copie de fichiers entre les deux systèmes.

Exemple d’utilisation :

# convmv -r -i -f utf8 -t utf8 --nfc --notest .

Pour convertir de Linux vers Mac OS, cela donne donc :

# convmv -r -i -f utf8 -t utf8 --nfd --notest .

Pour effectuer un test et confirmer le format de conversion, vous pouvez omettre l’option –notest.

Pour les propriétaires des derniers MacBook, il y a un joli tour de magie à connaître. Il vous faut pour cela un bracelet à fermeture aimantée ou encore tout autre aimant disposé près de votre poignet gauche… Approchez le comme si vous alliez taper normalement sur le clavier… et tout s’éteint … On enlève hop çà remarche ! Eh oui, la détection de fermeture du capot s’appuie sur un contact aimanté.

Parfois, j’avoue hésiter entre tout réinstaller et mettre les mains dans le cambouis… alors autant faire ceci :

Pour les possesseurs de GSM Nokia et de voitures avec module Bluetooth, la synchronisation de votre répertoire est possible malgré tout ce que l’on peut voir dans les forums…  Il faut installer l’application du Nokia 810 pour votre mobile S60 :

Si vous avez un GSM plus récent (ex N96) c’est la version tout en bas de la liste.

Pour importer votre répertoire :
- supprimez en premier lieu la liaison Bluetooth au véhicule.
- lancez l’application et activez la tâche d’exécution en fond (ne l’arrêtez pas).
- recréez la liaison Bluetooth.

Après quelques instants, vous pourrez accéder aux fonctions liées à vos contacts.
